Based on the thermomechanical framework developed by K. R. Rajagopal and his co-workers, we provide an unified view on a gamut of incompressible fluid models connecting a Newtonian fluid on one end with a granular fluid-like material on the other end. Mathematical features common to all these models will be discussed.
